Estee Lauder - National Accounts Assistant

National Accounts Assistant, in London
in London, Full Time (37.5 hours)

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is primarily (80%) supporting the National Accounts team within the Estee Lauder brand with regards to new product launches and the management of our Xmas campaign.  Another part of the role (20%) will be to support the National Sales Director and her sales team with administrative support.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

New Launch Process

  • Work under the direction of Senior National Accounts Manager and National Account Executive to ensure smooth-running of the operational aspects of bringing new launches to market, this includes but is not limited to:
    • Setting up data in Excel to reflect new launch matrices across all new product launches and categories
    • Running order forms from our system (Magic) for all new launch events
    • Following up with all retailers monthly with regards to orders and new product launches and responding to queries
    • Update the sales information on the Look Fantastic and Feel Unique order forms
    • Send reminders to retailers on late orders as communicated by events team at weekly operations meeting
    • Follow-up on operational issues / delays as highlighted in Operations meeting with relevant department liaising with Demand Planning/Events/Inventory teams
    • Access to SAP stock management / Run order details reports


  • Assist National Account Executive and National Account Manager on operational aspects of Xmas programme to ensure the smooth-running / execution of Xmas within Sales Function.  Tasks include:
  • Liaise with Marketing team. re codes/pricing and Excel vlookups
  • Set up data in Excel regarding matrices as per retailer request (drops/dates/% split/pack size/door vs warehouse/manually change all dates on Magic)
  • Send all matrices to retailers and respond to queries
  • Alongside National Account Executive, analyse Xmas reconciliations for excess opportunity/highlight risk to National Account Managers
  • Chase retailer orders and ensure appropriate stock orders and updates

General Responsibilities:

  • Attend and minute weekly Operations meeting and action any follow-up
  • Send out weekly out of stock information to field sales staff
  • Monitor and follow-up Sales Admin mailbox queries
  • Action day to day ad-hoc queries from National Account Managers and Internal depts
  • Quarterly store visits with feedback to Sales team
  • Assist with Sales Conference presentation as required by Sales Team

Sales Team Support

  • Diary management for National Sales Director
  • Scheduling meeting bookings and alignment across the brand with different departments on behalf of the sales team
  • Making key travel arrangements for the Sales Director and National Field Sales Manager (not day to day travel)
  • Completion of Sales presentations for Sales Team
  • Coordinating Field sales team requests for support and also for issuing incentive prizes/field incentives and challenge day goodie bags
  • Sourcing and sending out ‘winners’ vouchers and prizes, long service awards and incentives
