Jo Malone London currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced community manager to join the team as the Global Social Media Manager.
This is a central role within the Global Communications Team, responsible for developing and implementing the global social media strategy across all established, new and emerging markets. This role will be responsible for driving a high touch, global social experience whilst delivering strong KPIs and growing a highly engaged social audience across all brand channels.
The position will be responsible for devising and delivering strategic UGC and paid social campaigns globally, ensuring consistent ROI and driving business through to ecommerce platforms as well as bricks and mortar. Measuring and synthesizing all social media metrics for the brand as well as being one of the brand’s leading experts on social will be fundamental.
The candidate needs to have a willingness and ability to support and help drive “digitalisation” of brand teams; a creative, net-savvy individual who is highly engaged in social networking sites with a thorough understanding of the competitor landscape.
This is a key role within a very fast paced and changing environment; multi-tasking whilst maintaining a strong, strategic and holistic overview of all local markets, the brand and world of social media is critical to success. A proven track record in team management is also required as the role will be responsible for the global social media team.
The successful candidate will have a very well established social media background; preferably within the luxury industry. Previous international experience and management of a global budget is essential. Excellent people skills, with a credible track record in mentoring, are vital in order to build collaborative relationships within a geographically stretched matrix organisation. Lastly faultless attention to detail is a must!
